- How long before a market's nominal end this wallet typically takes its position here: the median, over its qualified picks in this category, of the time from its first buy on the side it was judged on to the market's end as Polymarket recorded it. Only markets that lived under 48 hours count — on a season-long market, how early somebody bet says how old the market was, not how they bet — and under 10 such picks there is no figure, only the count. The word compares this wallet with the other wallets measured in the same category, because two hours is late for tennis and early for basketball: LATE is later than three quarters of them, EARLY earlier than three quarters, TYPICAL the half between. - The number a wallet is ranked by in a category: its edge per pick, shrunk toward zero so that a short lucky run cannot outrank a long record, then graded out of 100 on a ruler that never moves. No edge at all grades 50, and a grade screenshotted today still means the same thing in six months. The scale itself is published with the figures it grades; this page holds no copy of it.

Nobody reaches either end. Across every wallet TailMyPicks has scored, the marks run from roughly 5 to 87 — which is what a fixed ruler costs, and what buys the sentence above.
It is not a win rate. A wallet can win four Picks in five and still grade below 50, if the market was already pricing those outcomes at 90c — it paid for the wins rather than finding them. The vs expected and Avg entry columns below are what separate the two.
The mark is deliberately pulled toward 50 when there is little evidence. Three lucky Picks do not produce a high grade; several hundred consistent ones do. So a modest grade on thousands of Picks means something a high grade on twelve does not.
Because it is shrunk this way, a Category grade is a conservative reading. The headline figure for a wallet is its best Category, so it always understates how badly the wallet does in its worst one — which is why the table below is per Category and not one blended number.
